Sherri Loonsfoot-Aldred and Aiyana Aldred are a mother–daughter Anishinaabe artistic team based in Marquette, Michigan, and enrolled members of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community. Blending graphic design and mixed-media painting, they honor reciprocity, stewardship, and storytelling through an Anishinaabe perspective. Their work is a vibrant celebration of nature’s cycles and seasons, grounded in Ojibwe lifeways and traditions.
Drawing inspiration from native flora and fauna, they reimagine natural forms through bold Woodland-style symbolism and fluid, organic linework, creating works that bridge ancestral knowledge and contemporary expression.
