Join artist and instructor Anthony Ciaramitaro as he teaches the basics of Still Life Oil Painting. This class is for anyone, from the complete beginner to the seasoned artist. Vinyasa Flow style yoga class offers a harmonious fusion of movement and breath, providing a balanced sequence of poses designed to enhance flexibility, strength, and mindfulness.
This class is focused on using your powerful breath to guide you through flowing postures, holding balance and lengthening/strengthening poses, and allows participants space and time to increase awareness and focus inward on the body while increasing flexibility and strength; promoting a full mind and body connection.
All levels welcome,modifications and variations will be offered to suit individual needs.
Hello my name is Sarah Wheeler, facilitator of Welcome Home Yoga.
I first fell in love with yoga as a kid, practicing Rodney Yee’s VHS tapes with my mom. As a certified and registered Occupational Therapist since 2017. I currently work in multiple schools in the area with students and school staff. I have taught a variety of adult and kids movement classes in our community and schools. I recently completed my 200hr teacher training with Aligned Yoga Method in SSM, Ontario. I am a strong believer and witness of the power of breath, mindfulness, meditation, and positive thinking in order to achieve physical and life goals! My mission is to provide a brave space for you to play with your breath, movements, and energy and experience the relaxing, ease and comforting feeling of being home in yourself.

- Practical Session: The day concludes with an outdoor workshop to practice techniques around the Erickson Center.

Hand-Poured Candle Making Workshop with Kitt Latsch- Of Curious Nature Candle Co.

$35/person-all supplies included to make 2 candles.
Join Kitt Latsch of Manistique for this FUN and UNIQUE workshop at the ECA!
Students will choose their favorite fragrance and then measure, mix and pour their very own candles.
Mingle while you're waiting for your candle to set up enough to transport home, or leave your candle and pick it up later at your convenience. Light snacks provided, feel free to bring your own beverages.
NOTE: Please exercise caution when choosing to participate in a candle making class if you have any specific allergies or fragrance sensitivities.

Youth Art Appreciation Workshop with Rayne Palmer
Grades K-2- Tuesdays & Thursdays July 22, 24, 29, 30 (the 30th class will be held AFTER older class from 1-3 PM)
Grades 3-5- Mondays & Wednesdays July 21,23,28,30
10:00 AM -12:00 PM each day. (Light snacks, juice and water will be provided.)
$40 per student for four days. All supplies included. Art class is MESSY, play clothes are recommended!
Sign your little artist up for this special workshop created just for kids with instructor Rayne Palmer!
K-2 students will learn the seven elements of art, shape, forms, volume, and more!
3-5 students will learn about “The Masters”: well- known artists, such as Van Gogh and Georgia O’Keefe, while keeping the class fun and interesting!
An “Art Show” will be scheduled at the end of the workshop for families to attend.

Adult Art Appreciation Workshop with Linda Paine

This class offers students a chance to experiment with many different mediums in fun and exciting ways. Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to foster the artist in you!
