The beloved “True North Quartet” performs quartets by Swedish composers Lars-Erik Larsson and Franz Berwald and then selections from the Danish String Quartet’s transcriptions of folk tunes from Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
The quartet is comprised of founder and violinist Paul Lundin, violinist Joseph Deller, violist Janine Bradbury and cellist Katri Ervamaa. All are active free-lance orchestral musicians in southeast Michigan. Ervamaa teaches at the Residential College at the University of Michigan.
