Dave & Kristi’s Showband performances mix many schools of American roots and popular music including folk, blues, swing, and old time country. The lyrics testify to the power of true love, rebirth, polkas, coffee, and even migrating fish.

The Showband is made up of members of the Flying Latini Brothers, fronted by the duo of Dave & Kristi. The members are no strangers to the greater Curtis area after years of performing at the Erickson Center and Chamberlin’s Ole Forest Inn.

With the Showband behind them, Dave & Kristi’s sets are even more fun than usual. In addition to their catalog of original songs, the Showband allows Dave & Kristi to expand their trick bag, to include selections from Paul Simon, Blondie, Hank Williams, Chuck Berry, and plenty more audience favorites. Audience sing alongs, or even a twist contest are very likely to pop up as well.

One time rock troubadour Dave Boutette, and former Radio City Rockette Kristi Lynn Davis make what could be considered an odd musical pairing, but they have certainly found a way to make it work. Since matching up Dave’s celebrated songwriting with Kristi’s natural gift for harmony, they have delighted audiences on stages from the Porcupine Mountains down to Oberlin, Ohio.
