 etter\, Charley (who makes her photographic debut in 'How Much is That Dog
 gie?')\n\nInterested in art her entire life\, Dawn has dabbled in pen an i
 nk\, basketry\, stained glass and pottery\, as well as oils\, acrylics\, a
 nd watercolors. She has used her creativity locally by making signs/poster
 s\, photo boards\, backdrops and scenery for musicals\, plays and Follywoo
 d. Dawn is an active member of the Erickson Center Fine Arts Committee\, a
 nd has had various works of art displayed in the Waterfront Gallery for se
 veral years.\nThis is her first photography exhibit.\n\nArt in the Abandon
 ed\nCreating visions of the memories\, possibilities\, and dreams held wit
 hin things left behind.\nâ€¢ An oil drum holds the delicate strands of a spi
 der web\nâ€¢ A discarded night light longs to be a free-spirited papillon.\n
 â€¢ A tractor's skeletal remains recall a father introducing his son to farm
 ing.\nâ€¢ Bluebirds frolic among antique car frames.\nâ€¢ Discarded gum adorns
  a red brick wall.\nâ€¢ Ephemoral Trilliums dance before a rusty dashboard.
 \nânâ Corrugated aluminum comes alive with color.\nâ€¢ Red boots miss playing 
 in the snow.\nâ€¢ A engine housing awaits the birth of new life.\nâ€¢ A sweet\
 , wide-eyed puppy beckons a playmate.\nâ€¢ Surrealism overtakes a trashed ca
