 pper Songwriter - What kind of song makes you break the speed limit\, sing
  at the top of your lungs\, or cry your eyes out? What is it that causes y
 ou to claim your sisterhood or brotherhood with these songs? For some song
 s\, it's a certain component that has been inserted and specifically desig
 ned to illicit a reaction. You too\, can create those moments in the music
  you write with the magic of a few delicious and dynamic elements. - Works
 hop Leader\, Jamie-Sue Seal\n\nJazz Fuel For Your Songwriting\nCross the g
 enre barrier and add some jazz language into your songwriting. In this \nw
 orkshop\, you will learn about jazz phrasing\, chords\, rhythms\, and impr
 ovisation\, and how to inject these elements into your songs. - Workshop L
 eader\, Sunny Wilkinson\n\n\nRecording Your Own Songs - This workshop will
  provide a basic overview of home studio recording with a focus on creatin
 g demos of your original songs. We will discuss the few pieces of equipmen
 t needed to build a basic home studio and the various DAW Software tools a
 vailable\, including a demonstration of Apple’s Logic Pro. \n- Workshop Le
 ader\, Joe Latini\n\n\nFreight Yard Katie & Friends\nWe’ll be talking abou
 t developing characters and plot lines in story songs\, both comedic and d
 ramatic. Using examples from some of Mike's own tunes\, and also from the 
 works of great songwriters we all admire. We’ll consider how rewarding it 
 can be when a songwriter steps outside his or her own head and becomes or 
 creates a whole different person in his song.\nThink “Pancho and Lefty”\,
