 s “Hunt” quartet is paired with Australian composer Alfred Hill’s Quartet 
 #2 “A Maori Legend.” This programmatic work tells the story of how the ind
 igenous people of New Zealand found their homeland! A monster\, a magical 
 crane\, a magical tree\, and a hero fashioning a canoe out of this tree to
  take him across the waters. Oh\, my!\n\nThe quartet is comprised of found
 er and violinist Paul Lundin\, violinist Joseph Deller\, violist Janine Br
 adbury and cellist Katri Ervamaa. All are active free-lance orchestral mus
 icians in southeast Michigan. Ervamaa teaches at the Residential College a
 t the University of Michigan.\nThis program is free to the public thanks a
 gain to the “Curtis Buckeyes” who generously make this available each year
 .
