 piano) and Ken Pesick (bass) met in the UP during the summer of 2016 while
  playing with separate bands. Quick to discover a shared affinity for impr
 ovised music\, they have since played together countless times across the 
 state and in Metro Detroit where they live. Ideas for this particular pian
 o-centric project stemmed from socially distanced jam sessions in a Royal 
 Oak backyard during the summer of 2020.\n\nKen is a Sterling Heights nativ
 e and has studied music at Oakland University\, the University of Louisvil
 le and Wayne State University. Neil is originally from Pittsburgh\, PA\, h
 aving attended West Virginia University and the University of Michigan. Th
 ey enjoy visiting the UP and playing in Curtis\, most often with their fam
 ilies in tow.\n
