 he Pine Performance Center with both dramatic and beautiful string quartet
  music in a program entitled “Czech it Out.” \nThis year’s concert feature
 s two works. The first is a biographical programmatic work by Bedrich Smet
 ana “From My Life” telling the story of the composer’s life in sound. The 
 second is the “Cypresses Quartet” by Antonin Dvorak. This rarely heard qua
 rtet is a set of loves songs that the composer then set for strings. Hold 
 hands with someone next to you and be transported by these beautiful piece
 s.\n\nThe quartet is comprised of founder and violinist Paul Lundin\, viol
 inist Joseph Deller\, violist Janine Bradbury and cellist Katri Ervamaa. A
 ll are active free-lance orchestral musicians in southeast Michigan. Ervam
 aa teaches at the Residential College at the University of Michigan.\nThis
  program is free to the public thanks again to the “Curtis Buckeyes” who g
 enerously make this available each year.\n
