 tist- Austin Ash\nAs a forty-five year old native of the U.P.\, Austin Ash
  has been producing metal sculptures for over six years. Using mostly foun
 d or discarded materials that have spent their first lives serving a simpl
 e mechanical purpose\, Austin finds joy in re birthing them as aesthetic p
 uzzle pieces of a sculpture. There are times\, as Austin has said\, just o
 ne piece will dictate the entire direction of the project\, almost as if i
 t builds itself.\n\nMeet the Artist- JoAnn Deuel Shelby - Snow Queen Studi
 o\nLiving in Michigan’s pristine Upper Peninsula is reflected in paintings
  by JoAnn Deuel Shelby. Landscapes\, rocky wild shorelines and woodland sc
 enes are often subjects. She began drawing\, painting at young age continu
 ing to majoring in fine arts at Michigan State University. Experimental in
  her approach using unique materials like alcohol inks\, eco -printing wit
 h local plant materials then embellishing with watercolors or acrylics. Pa
 inting is her primary focus and recently experimenting with alcohol inks\,
  eco-printing embellishing with ink & watercolor. JoAnn exhibits in severa
 l galleries\, exhibits earning awards\, winning in international competiti
 ons.\n
