 with Dan Hall and his amazing “Story Song Creations” Workshop!\nThrough ge
 nerous funding by the Nancy A. and Richard P. Erickson Foundation\, and in
  cooperation with the Erickson Center for the Arts\, this workshop was bro
 ught to the students of TLA and area home school students.\nProfessional s
 ongwriter and musician\, Dan Hall began Story Song Creations as an in-scho
 ol workshop designed to help children of all ages to retain the lessons th
 ey were learning in school by writing and performing songs about the subje
 cts they were studying. \nGrades preschool through seventh grade at TLA an
 d over twenty area home school students participated in the program\, whic
 h spanned over a week\, earlier this month.\nEach grade wrote their own so
 ng about something that they are currently learning about. The songs were 
 then recorded at TLA along with music that Dan created. A downloadable CD 
 of all of the songs being performed will be available to the students and 
 their families. \nThe students will be performing their “Story Song Creati
 ons” with Dan on Thursday\, November 30th starting at 6:30 PM in the Erick
 son Center performance level.  The public is welcome to attend.\n
