X-WR-CALDESC:The Erickson Center for the Arts presents a chamber music prog
 ram at 7:00 PM on Monday\, August 12th.  A String Quartet from the Ann Arb
 or area will thrill the audience with a program is entitled “Hot and Cold.
 ”   String quartets written by composers from opposite hemispheres are the
  musical focus. Violinist and Escanaba native Paul Lundin  will be joined 
 by violinist Karen Donato\, violist Joseph Deller and cellist Daniel Thoma
 s. \n\nIn this program Franz Josef Haydn’s “Sunrise” quartet raises the cu
 rtain on the evening.  A quartet entitled “Four\, for Tango” by Argentinia
 n composer Astor Piazzolla contrasts with Norway’s most famous composer Ed
 vard Grieg.   His exciting “Quartet in G Minor” concludes this exciting co
 ncert.\n\nThis is the fourth consecutive summer this group has performed a
 t the Erickson Center.  They have  become audience favorites for their exc
 eptional skill\, musicality and programming.  \n\nThis is a free concert\,
  but donations are always appreciated.  Please join us.
