| The Erickson Center for the Arts Why Care? The Erickson Center for the Arts’ grand opening was held in June 2008. We are very grateful to all our donors from near and far for their enduring support. Our efforts continue to further the vision of the Erickson Center as the heart of Northern Michigan’s cultural and artistic activities, and a favorite gathering place for community events.
The majority of our operating budget relies on the financial support of our donors. Thousands of hours dedicated by our many volunteers ensure that financial donations from individuals, organizations and businesses, make the Erickson Center for the Arts a success. |
| Our goal is to develop additional facilities and programming within the Erickson Center to better serve you, your family, friends, future generations, and the Curtis community. However, it will take considerable funding to accomplish these goals. Whether you are a year around or seasonal resident of our community or a visitor who vacations in our area, your donation will support a cause that will enrich the mind, body and spirit of many. Thank you in advance for your financial consideration. Your generosity will help make the Erickson Center for the Arts a source of pride for all of us. |
Planned Giving
The Erickson Center for the Arts has both an endowed fund and an unendowed fund established with the Community Foundation of the Upper Peninsula. Our endowed fund uses the earnings in accordance to our board approved spending policy for sustaining operations of the organization. The donations (principal) are not invaded. Once a fund is endowed it is endowed forever and cannot be changed. Unendowed funds may use both the earnings and principal. The Erickson Center’s unendowed fund is utilized for capital improvements and planning. Please contact us at 906-586-9974 for additional information on either fund. | | "Realize that true happiness lies within you. Waste no time and effort searching for peace and contentment and joy in the world outside. Remember that there is no happiness in having or in getting, but only in giving. Reach out. Share. Smile. Hug. Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself." —Og Mandino (1923 - 1996)All Online Donations are made through PayPal Secure Payments.
